John Goolsby is an award winning filmmaker, author, convention speaker, college professor, property manager, business coach and the recipient of the Bob LeBar Vision Award for Innovation and Entrepreneurial Spirit.
He is a 28-year veteran with more than 3,000 weddings of experience and has filmed in 14 countries. Actors, Rock Stars and Professional Athletes have commissioned him to film events around the world, sometimes with multi-million dollar budgets. Brit has produced concerts and events for elite musicians, weddings on a cruise line and planned exotic celebrations worldwide. She started her wedding and event business in 2002. She has volunteered and co-produced events for charities, CaterSource, Event Solutions and Wedding MBA. Based in Las Vegas, NV and Santa Monica, CA during peak seasons, Brit Bertino is the Owner and Director/ Designer. Her company provides professional event management services for any type and size of wedding or social celebration.

Rebecca Johnson | My Social Media Pro

Rebecca is the founder of Get Networking Now, Rebecca-Johnson.com and My Social Media Pro. She is an expert at showing entrepreneurs, management teams, and small business owners how to effectively network, build relationships and leverage those relationships to grow their business on and off-line. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Work. While working in the Social Work arena, she found herself enjoying the art of “relationship building” and found a passion for taking an idea and working to bring it to “life”. This sparked a chain reaction of ideas and Rebecca quickly found herself being an “accidental entrepreneur”. Rebecca is the editor in chief at the Sacramento Connector Magazine and a partner in My Biz Assistant. For 25 years, Janice has had a highly unconventional career path including sales at Xerox, Val Pak and Penney Saver, entrepreneur and bar owner, and known as “The Balloon Lady of Sacramento.” She became the number one sales person using her networking skills and cold calling to get new clients. Well known as a Networking coach and trainer with her current company Referral Network, Janice is considered an expert in relationship building and connecting the right people. Janice is involved in 9 Chambers of Commerce and various networking groups. She is known as the Network Queen because she is everywhere. Janice has published an E-Book titled “How to Create and Awesome Event (Wedding) using referrals and connections, plus various articles on networking. Julia Markel Julia Markel | Bridal Expo


Julia is co-founder and current Vice-President of the Association for Wedding Professionals, Int’l (the oldest international association that caters to all categories of the wedding industry) and the co-owner, with husband Richard Markel, of MarNel Productions, which has produced Bridal Expo in California since 1985. She has provided services and consulting to wedding professionals for the past 27 years. Julia has lived in California most of her life, but grew up in Arkansas, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education. She received her journalism training at California State University, Sacramento. She has presented wedding marketing seminars in the U.S. and worldwide for the past 20 years. She is the author of “More than Just a Pretty Booth: The Complete Guide to Get More Bookings from Bridal Shows,” and has written several articles on how to get more business from bridal shows.

Vickie and her husband Craig founded Ever After Creations in 1996. Her passion for connecting people and understanding how people with different personalities communicate lead her to becoming a Certified Personality Trainer. Applying what she knows about the personalities has revolutionized their business by increasing sales and improving relationships. Vickie loves sharing this information with others as a contributing writer for the DJ Pulse, a returning presenter for AfWPi, a presenter at Mobile Beat Las Vegas as well as The DJ Cruise.

Angie has been a florist since November 1991 when she walked away from her corporate job. Angie says she always knew she wanted to own her own business and she has loved flowers for as long as she can remember, so started a floral business was a natural path to take. In 2008 when the economy started to tank she started looking into other revenue streams and wrote a Do It Yourself Wedding Flower Guide which is why and how she learned about publicity. Angie attended the National Publicity Summit in New York in October of 2008 and as a result obtained her first tv and radio appearances. Since then, Angie has been featured in numerous print magazines, newspapers, tv news shows, a national talk show and radio interviews.
